I've also used it quite a bit when lost ... in the middle of a lake on a run.
You really DO run fast.

Download maps? Hmmm, i'll have to google and see if I can figure that out. And how does a person get lost in while running in the middle of a lake?? Lake running must involve some running technique I haven't mastered yet...

Well, you see, we live in Maine, and it gets kind of COLD in the winter...
