Gang Name "Pound Cake"
Ran a BQ 3:23:18 in my second ever marathon at Air Force. My BQ time was 3:40 for 2016 race. Previous best marathon was this Spring at Flying pig when I ran a 3:49. On to Boston in 2016 ya!

SCHEDULE 2016--
The pain that hurts the worse is the imagined pain. One of the most difficult arts of racing is learning to ignore the imagined pain and just live with the present pain (which is always bearable.) - Jeff

Nicely done!
Congrats! That's quite a time drop. Did you do something dramatically different?

Congrats, especially given that it got a little warm toward the end.
I have a question. I was a bit behind you... at your pace, did you have trouble with the half marathon merge at M22 and beyond? In the 3:45 zone, it was wall-to-wall half marathon walkers for the last 3 1/2 miles. The last time I ran AF was 2007, and I don't remember it... but then again, I was a wee bit faster that year.

Congrats!!
I am attempting to take off a similar-sized chunk of time, also in a single training cycle. And I have been thinking I'm probably crazy for even trying, so it's great to know it can be done!
