BTW I dab a little vaseline on the nipples so the tape doesn't stick to THAT.
No, I don't want the damned combo special. Now quit asking me that.

Shower was better today, not too much stinging. Band-aids worked well on the long run. I actually used the foam Curad spots. They stayed on fairly well.

Band-aid spots work here.
Don't forget to take them off after you take off your shirt. The little old ladies on our bike trail show no mercy!

Body glide ruins shirts.
How does Body Glide ruin shirts? I haven't noticed that being a problem. Should I anticipate something bad happening to my running shirts over time?
JK's right about the water thing. During the Falmouth road race, the spectators in cottages and inns take great joy in hosing the runners down as they run by. They think they're helping. I wish I could go back and give them all nipple twists.

Some technical materials get stained or even melt with the combination of body glide and sweat.

Yep.....that's me too. It only happens occasionally so I'm never ready. It hasn't happened in a race yet. I put Bag Balm on. It seems to heal things more quickly. I use band-aids sometimes.

Me neither. Staining I could live with but melting? Now I'm very afraid that my tech shirt will be melted to my nipples after a long run. Or worse, my running shorts will melt onto my groin. Ew.

I used duct tape in the Leadville 100 last weekend. The same pieces stayed on for 100 miles (over 26 hours of running) in rain, sleet, snow, hail, and sun without coming off. Works great. Hurts a little coming off. Shave first.
