Unsure if anyone here remembers him, Robert Scamman's obituary in the Press Herald on Wednesday. Long time RA member. I ran across him a few times at local races, saying hello in-race as we jogged along. To my recollection, the last time was the Maine Marathon at about mile 3 as we heading up Martin's Point, and he was limping and noted coming back from a hip injury.
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
Can't say for sure but I think I might've met him at some race or another along the way. He does look familiar. Seems like he was a good guy.

I don't think that I would have met him. I don't race much and pretty much stick to Augusta/Waterville area.
It sounds like a PE to me. Beware those long distance trips in cars and planes.
