Sorry to hear about the foot, Bio! I hope you get some clear answers.
3.9 mile walk with MBE around a small lake and some wooded trails in addition to sidewalk, with 476 feet of elevation gain and a short jogging stretch up a hill. Good enough for me though I wanted to do more.
My backyard neighbour, a middle-aged divorced man in a wheelchair (car accident) has his windows open and is blasting some music. I am glad he is enjoying his deck, sunshine, music, and opened-up view of the Olympic mountains over the roof of my house, after I cut most of a plum tree down.
"During a marathon, I run about two-thirds of the time. That's plenty." - Margaret Davis, 85 Ed Whitlock regarding his 2:54:48 marathon at age 73, "That was a good day. It was never a struggle."
Bioguy - It's greta to see ya. I hope your foot doctor has a simple cure.
Coastwalker - I'm glad you gave the restaurant another try. It takes a new place a while to pull the team together.
KSA - Good news on DD's Golden Gate service.
Tetsujin - It's greta that you have an extended cherry blossom season.
Wildchild is going to Spain!!!
Enkephalin - I have visions of plum trees fueling the smoker.
I got the day rolling early. I had a hand soaking in apple juice and maple syrup since Wednesday. Had it on the smoker at 6:00 AM Sunday.
After the internal temp got to 120F, I put a glaze on it and put it back in until the internal temp was up to 160F. It was smokes with maple/bourbon chips.
I was able to get the dog out for 1.1 miles and my at home PT session done.
We went to MIL's for dinner. The grandkids were playing together after. However, they got distracted.
Not everyone loves EB.
The Easter Bunny is holding Ellie and Jonah. Ellie is 10 weeks older and she is trying to comfort Jonoah, who is not a fan.

Love the pictures!
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
...those are Great pictures..........
==========
we had a baptism Easter Sunday
3-year old boy, and he was NOT having it
first they couldn't catch him
then
he escaped and they let him sit in the front pew
where he crawled back and forth during the invocation
and managed to escape again
when the water hit him
you couldn't tell if it was a Baptism or an Exorcism
Very Lively Easter
..nothing takes the place of persistence.....
