| 04/12 Run the Chase of Champions 5k and 10k (Read 102 times) |

For anyone who has stumbled on to the RMEC forum, we are hosting the Unoffical Chase of Champions 5k and 10k on 04/12 at 9:00 am in Rocky Mount.
Why is it unoffical? Becuase the real race stopped in 2006 after 29 years. The RMEC had 50 people run the course last year as a timed fun run. The roads are open to traffic, and this is a run-at-your-own-risk event. 
There are no prizes, or awards, but we have fun. The cost is free.

UPDATE: The date of this run may be moved back. When we picked the date, we did not realize it was Spring Break, and it appears the majority of people who said they could run, are not able to now.

| Just in case someone stumble on to this post that does not check our blog. . . we have delayed this race/run. The date will likely occur in late spring. Sorry for the confusion! |
