I ran this race this weekend and achieved a goal + a PR!

My favourite race...mostly hard pack gravel trails, some hard pack dirt and a bit of asphalt paths. This is as close as I could get to recreating this route. They have a map on thier website (hand drawn) that I used - it's off a bit but you get the idea. Be sure to view it in satelite view - very pretty area. All in all a great run. Wish it was closer to my home! CHECK OUT THE ELEVATION!

This is what I try to run at least once a week. It's hard because the concrete and brick sidewalks are hell on my shins and ankles. But it's a fun route otherwise with neat people to watch and often street performers. Also, at crosswalks, I get a chance to catch my breath and stretch a bit.
