very windy.... very. Cold.
4 seconds from my goal of sub 40 mins.
It was a very tough day to race, the wind was blowing something furious.
1. I thought I could go out at 4:50 pace and hold it.
2. Down hill section in the 2nd km so I was quicker than planned but its all about gravity.
3. Got back on pace for the 3rd click.
4. This km killed the goal time. Up a decent hill and took so long to recover. Maybe this was gut check time and I didn't answer the call.
5. Started to recover here and thought I had a shot.
6. Flat section with a tail wind.
7. Begining to tire.
8. Finish is at the top of a hill, on the way up I passed about 10 people but also got passed by 4 or 5.
All things considered it was a decent race. Bettered last years time by 1:43.
