Henry Ayau 6-Man Race. Hawaii Kai to Nanakuli Beach, 32 miles. Crew, Jared & me stroking, Keoni, Cliff, Q, Brian, Tino, Dave and Curtis. Sluggish start with all the boat wake...pretty good Hawaii Kai run and to Honolulu Harbor..kept up with Lokahi but we kind of lost steam in the last half of the race and we couldn't catch them. 31st place of 51 boat..not bad. Everything felt great stroking...sat 3 for a change. Endurance good, some minor cramping on forearm which went away after i took in a Gu. Changes were good too. We let too many runners pass by but overall i thought we did a great job.
