Out fast and comfortable thru half but fatigue grew fast. No adult runners were ahead or close behind, so I coasted in pacing with a HS kid.
1st place Masters plague and $50. Thank you Lord.
Felt like I was gonna have a stoke afterward. I was very hot and hard to breath. Swore off ever doing a summer race again, but that will likely fade.
**Course was lengthened and made too long imo, and hand mapping here shows it.
