Close to the perfect race for my fitness. Only mistake was not making more effort to empty my bladder before the start, but it was a choice between that and giving up a pretty decent position. Just amazed that I was able to kick down the pace and then hold it after 30 k to get the negative split (half was about 90:30). It did hurt thoough. I guess if the toilet break and bit before the start line are taken out it is not much of a negative split if at all. But officially, that's waht it was and I'm taking it. This was perhaps my most satisfying marathon yet.
