Why do I run: I've been running since '94 for a few reasons. The first was to lose weight. The second was the challenge of racing and ultimately running a marathon. Then came competition ... beating someone my age. Then came a time for maintenance and R&R. I now cycle between maintenance, base, strength, speed, and racing modes. |
Why I started running: I started running just to lose weight. At the urgence of my daughter, then 11, I began reading about long distance runners. It caught my interest and as they say, the rest is history. |
