Herring Run 21k. A bit slower than last year. Achilles tight. Start was a quick blow of the horn and right into a congo line for about 3/4mile till I decided to pass a couple of the 10k runners. Than passed abother guy and by mile 3 another. Finally it was me chasing down the two leaders but they had built a huge lead and I could reel them in. The second loop was tough but I hung in there. Ended up about 2mins behind the next guy. So close. Won a nice Solomon hydration vest. Beautiful scenery and slippery singletrack. Disappointed in the torrents and their grip on the rocks today.
