Notes
This was to be a mid-week long run, which per Pfitz is 11-16, but I cut it a little short in light of recent tightness. No problems on the run itself, except for a little stomach nonsense. I don't mind running this late, but it hard to run having eaten dinner a hour or so before. I'm looking forward to the upcoming days off so that I'll be able to get some running in during the daylight hours. Constently running i the dark is sort ofa drag. As for pace, I'm still at a complete loss. I really have no idea what I should shoot or in next month's marathon. Part of me thinks it would be possible to run sub-3:15 while another part thinks that anything under 3:30 would be good. On last night's run my first mile was 8:30, which is faster than i generally start. After that I put in a few very low 8s. Then I lost some concentration and slowed a up to 8:40 without even realizing it until the garmin autolapped. Got to keep focus on the splits.
