another hike! Ben wanted to (and hardly remembered this morning's hike), so I drove straight up to Sp Butte (gravel parking lot) when we came home from campus.
We turned around at the 19 minute mark....it was getting dusky, plus we saw some tracks that looked suspiciously like cougar tracks. Eek! I took a photo of one track with my iphone.
Ben went off trail twice (just like a few days ago) when he was leading and the trail abruptly veered off to the left. He continues straight ahead and goes right off trail. (Sigh)
