Notes
1st. 15:06.4. sUper humid but otherwise really nice racing conditions. Knew it'd probably be a run away win so I wanted to build through the race and negative split. Came through the first mile in 4:51 and it was relatively comfortable but as I tried to pick up the pace and pushed myself even further out to the lead it became harder to keep dropping the pace. the second mile was 4:55 and at that point the win was well in hand but I wasnt going to run a very good time. just maintained through the third mile and kept my mechanics fluid, running 4:56. finished up and took a short moment before jogging back down the course to cheer on friends as part of my cool down. Not my best run but was a good starting point.
