16x200 w/200 jog. It was mercifully cooler today, probably in the high 70s with a much lower dew point, though it was still very humid. I went into this mostly to reintroduce some intensity to my training and to work on mechanical efficiency so speed was not the most important aspect, but running strong was the key. 34.3, 34.1, 33.4, 33.8, 34.1, 33.0. The early reps felt controlled and I monitored my arm swing and foot placement. 33.3, 33.5, 32.8, 32.9, 32.9. The effort got slightly more challenging and I was breathing pretty good after half way but was still feeling good. 32.6, 33.0, 33.1, 33.4, 32.8. Most of the 200 jogs were somewhere between 54 and 58. This wasn't anything special but it was nice mixing it up from the general aerobic work I've been doing since Grandma's.
