Since Caitlin is the only 10k girl and would stomp the rest of them on long intervals coach put me in charge as her personal workout buddy this spring. helped her through 10x1000 w/1' starting around 10k pace and finishing a bit faster. Had a pretty nice workout with her, its always nice when i can get good volume in without thinking about it. ran a little over 200m in between reps to make it continuous. 3:28, 3:28, 3:29, 3:27, 3:26, 3:26, 3:24, 3:24, 3:20, 3:19. It’s like I’m sneaking in some extra threshold work.
