3 mile @ HP w/3’+ 2 mile @ HP w/3’+ 2x mile @10k w/2:30 rest. Nice temp and little wind this morning, only complaint was a steady rain. Ran in lane 8 again, helps a lot to just focus on effort and not splits, I just stop when the watch tells me to. The 3 mile started off slow but I found my pace after about a half mile and just cruised the whole thing, it was great. (5:06.8, 5:05.2, 5:04.0) 15:16. Walked for 3 min and when I started back up my hammy was tight but only for the first minute or so. (5:03.9, 5:01.7) 10:05.6. Both of the longer reps were a lot like Half pace (which was the point) where I was just settling in but still running an honest pace. Finished the last two miles with the mind set of finishing a race aggressively but not being all out. 4:46.0, 4:46.9. felt pretty good on the whole, great last workout before the Half Champs!
