Not the start to the week I was hoping for but still got something decent in this morning when the freezing rain made the sidewalks an ice rink. I went out to do a Fat Man but I was forced to chop my stride so severely that it felt worthless so I went to the indoor track and hopped on the treadmill; at this stage of the game I don't want to jack my hips or hamstring up again from doing too many turns. I got a decent 11 miles in on the tread working down to sub 6:00 for the last half mile before having to trot back to the apartment. It was even worse going back because it was mainly downhill. I was super weary but that didn't stop me from nearly wiping out a couple times at a conservative pace. I should also note that the mild, occasionally-occurring tendinitis in my extensor tendons has crept in the last day or so. I'm not concerned about, it just sucks when I start, or slip constantly while running.
