2 sets of 3xMile @5:20-5:00 w/ 1:45, 3:30 between sets. Johnny lobbed on in there for me today, following the 20 mile death march on Wednesday I was thankful. Ran in Lane 8 of the track because it helps me become less pace conscious and allows me just to focus on the task at hand. Surprised myself with an easy 5:07 first mile. heart rate dropped quickly as I walked across the field. 5:03 and 5:02 to end the first set. Everything was feeling controlled and smooth, only the slightest amount of built up fatigue in my legs as I finished #4 in 5:04. last two were both 5:02 and was actively holding myself back in the middle when I thought I'd normally need to push the pace to stay on. great rhythm work today at Half pace with generous rest. finished off the morning with 6x200 w/200 jog in 30.6/30.7/30.1/29.9/30.1/29.7
