10x1' on-1' off. I woke up at 2AM with a painfully sore throat. I rolled around in bed wondering if I should call off the fartlek but decided to see if some medicine would help make it manageable. We have gone through nearly 4 weeks straight of o-zone pollution and I think my breathing has finally had enough. Regardless I ended up feeling decent after taking some DayQuil and my pre-workout nuun ritual. It was just frank and I meeting up so I knew I'd be alone once the workout started, and of course that was true. However I managed a pretty decent pace on the tempo loop around east boulder Rec. I had some slower segments, mostly when the incline became a factor but with an average surge of 4:59/mile I was pleased (recovery avg 6:40). I didn't try to push the recoveries, instead I focused on making the on's as quality as possible. (3x leg circuit)
