Warmed up into a progression. Ran with Mitch on the upper shelf since it was 20 degrees and the workout to follow involved standing rest and I didn’t want freeze between reps. The upper shelf is 6 laps to the mile but my watch was lapping about every 5.75 laps. I wanted to go off the 6 lap mile but when’s it came to the 3 mile progression I was killing myself to just try to run 5:4x’s and realized later that my watch was probably more accurate as the paces were way more related to the effort I was putting in. 5:26, 5:13, 5:02 were the (probably) accurate splits (as opposed to 5:45, 5:36, 5:19).
