Got going around 7 am this morning and I actually preferred having to get it done early, the anticipation of running later in the day can be draining. Ran the Lagerman loop and I was extremely grateful for the calm wind because there would have been no salvation out there. Did 12x30" hills w/2' rest at the western end of Clover Basin. The stretch from Stones Peak to Turin Dr was almost perfectly 200m. I finally felt good running hard after a week of struggles so i was enjoying ripping up that hill (only about 10-12 ft gain/hill). Averaged about 4:20 pace for the 30" but its hard to say since there's some lag to the GPS for short stuff like this. I thought about jogging back down for the 2' but walking was almost spot on top to bottom so I took the extra recovery over mileage. (3x Leg Circuit, 1x Medball)
