Raced as planned. Goal to break 28, top 10 on team, top 20 in NE, and in front of all other team's 3rd. Almost got under 28, (28:05), 8th for team, 19th overall, ahead of others' 3rds. Planned to go out hard enough to "be there", then hold tough. Did that... first mile in 5:17, under 11 through 2, 17:13 thru 5k. Ran near the lead pack in the first mile, then Chris Law caught me, then around mile 4 Pat passed me but I held tough for our 3 guys going 1-2-3 and 6,7,8 at 17-18-19. Super happy.
