New PR today at the Illini Classic. Just before getting lined up, Alex Gold let everyone know he was going through in 4:25, so as soon as he gun went off I just settled in the back and let everyone string out. Came through the quarter in about 68, 800 in about 2:18 then the mile in 4:38. After that I don't really remember splits, but with 200 to go I think I was around 8:13? Progressed well through the race and caught plenty of people the last quarter. Could've gone a bit stronger in the middle, I really should've started winding it up from 800 out, but I think I still ran it pretty smart.
