This weeks workout was a tempo run instead of a kenyan run. After the warm up and strides i felt decent and had a pre run plan of a 6:15 first mile but I ended up a lot faster which most likely lead to not being able to drop alot of time from start to finish. The first 2 miles were solid and my 3 mile was feeling great until the turn around and which took place as a car was coming from behind so I really broke momentum. I recovered a little but never really dropped after that. Last Friday when I ran the Party in the Park 5k my time was 17:42 at 3.1 today was 17:55. That avg pace was 5:43 while today was 5:48. Also, like every workout at home, I ran this completely alone.
