4x800m leadoff leg. 2nd place in 8:09 despite a 2:10 leg from Joe. Before the race coach told me to get out as hard as yesterday and hit the 600 in 1:26-1:27. First 400m I sat behind Kaneland and some other team and tried to move into the lead by the end of the first lap. 55-56 split. Held my position until 600m (1:27), carrying out the plan, but my legs fell apart the last 200m and I fell to 4th. I'm kind of upset I didn't run 2:00, but it was an okay start for us. Hopefully we'll put the A squad in next week.
