T73: My first long outdoor walk. I have developed a strange gait that I haven't noticed when walking around the house or grocery store. I am landing strangely on my right foot--to the point that my right ankle hurts. I was working on fixing this throughout the walk. My knee is still somewhat swollen; And my muscles, tendons, etc., are not yet stretched to normal. And I cannot yet straighten my leg to normal extension. I can do this while exercising it, laying on the floor, or stretching it out on a raised surface. But while walking, I still have a slight bend. All this taken together, is cause the weird gate. My pace was very slow. I just couldn't seem to move faster while focusing on fixing my walking style. I guess that will all come with time. All in all, not a bad first effort.
