T93; H 48; DP67: A run to acclimate to the weather conditions. I also wanted to focus on hip rotation around my center axis--insuring that my hips aren't sliding side to side like a femme fatale, causing ITB issue, and to focus on pelvic tilt. When I do these correctly, I run more smoothly with less bounce. It is better for my knees, and I automatically run faster.
I wanted to have a pace closer to 12:30-12:45, given the weather conditions, the fact that I ran yesterday, and that I really wanted to focus on what I was doing. But speed just happens when I run correctly. So, the 11:57 pace is apparently a slower pace for me on a short run, when I'm focusing on what I'm doing. I'll see how that holds up on future runs.
