T70; H37; DP41; W5nne: This was a 12+ mile run. I lost a bit more than 1/2 mile when I turned off the garmin for a emergency facilities stop soon into mile 8. I thought I turned it on again, but I sometimes just don't push the button hard enough. Even though the stats don't show it, this was like a tale of 2 different runs. Prior to stopping, I was running an easy run, without any struggle. I wasn't pushing for time, I just wanted a slow, easy run. After I stopped, it was a totally different story. My calves tighted up l lot during that short stop. I tried to loosen them during the run, but nothing worked. Also, I seemed to struggle just to finish the run. It wasn't hot or humid. The weather actually felt very nice, so I don't know why I was struggle just to keep going. I was making deals with myself just to get back home without stopping.
