Notes
This was meant to be a long run today--12 miles. I felt great the first 3 miles. At the beginning of the 4th mile, my HR spiked to 213. I couldn't get it down until I started walking. Walked for about 1/2 block, then started running again. I was never able to catch my breath thereafter, even tho' my heart rate was lower. My legs felt like lead. I ran a couple of more miles and just chucked it. I thought I might run after walking a bit, but never felt like running. If this were a race day, I'd have been screwed. I couldn't make myself run again.
Last week's 11-mile run went ok. I was tired, but not like this. Maybe I can make up this long run sometime during the week.
