T45 (FL41); DP18; H33; W22SW: This was meant to be an LSD run today; however, I didn’t get 5.5 miles before my knee gave out. I must have been running somewhat wonky thereafter, because my calves tightened up like tennis balls. I stopped several times to try to stretch them, to no avail. Between the knee and the calves, I had to walk/ run 2+ miles home. I turned off the timer each time I walked, because I wasn’t sure I would start running again. My 7.07 miles looked like this: 1) 16:12 (forgot to turn off timer the 3 minutes I took to futz with the radio—which didn’t work. 2) 13:57 3) 13:39 4) 15:58 (I don’t know what happened here. 5) 14:43 6) 14:11 7) 14:59 8) 13:54.
