Notes

I took this super easy but it’s the best the ankle has felt since I trashed it. The wind was cold on my face and ears and it was definitely windy this afternoon. I tried to hold back because I know I have to start over again and slow. At one point I completely zoned out for a good 10 minutes, and I haven’t done that in a long time. Not sure if that’s good or bad.

Anyway, the LA Marathon is officially scrapped. Maybe Maine Coast?

Egad

Oh that's too bad. It's good that you are able to make that decision now though. Let me know if you end up registering for Maine Coast, I'm still on the fence.

L Train

Not even a training run? If you do MC, you should talk to Bob Randall about joining Winners Circle.

Scorps

Kathy is having surgery tomorrow and I'm just not sure if I'm going to be able to be in LA that week for the meetings at work, never mind going out a few days earlier to run a marathon. It will likely be the week we go back to the drs. to determine where she is in the recovery process. Terrible timing plus my training regimen of Double Bag and Cheese Doodles doesn't seem to be getting me in better shape. I'm not sure how I'm losing weight though.

L Train

At least it wasn't her birthday. Give my best wishes to her on the surgery.

BTW, the skating reference on the home page was not at her - I'm not that much of an asshole.

Scorps

Not you L Train. You're definitely not an asshole or inappropriate in any way. I don't care what that crazy man in the barn said about you. The good news is that the cast guys at the Ortho Docs sang happy bday to her. She's got that going for her.

gadman

Seems like a long time ago we were flying to La. Hope you get healed up quickly and also my ass from the weld rod!

L Train

Steve, I'm not sure how you are going to help get Gadman's ass away from the rod but good luck with all of that.
