Notes

The plan was to run 4 1/2 hours at least and possibly 5 hours if things went well. The first 2 hours felt great though I kept the pace a bit slower than last week as I knew I would be tired to start with uncoving the pool and yard work yesterday took it's toll.

By hour three the legs started feeling extremely tired and though my heart rate registered low (130 average) I felt like it was more like 150. My energy just bonked and I started walking more to rest the running muscles yet running to rest the walking muscles and resorted to lengthening the stride on down hills to rest both.

I finally became quite disapointed and gave up the notion to register 5 hours running today. Mile 18 ended up being the second slowest of the day and the 21st being the slowest.

Again the Garmen (18.71)and the nano (21.9)read differently I am not sure which is closer as the woods and twisty trails reek havok with the Garmen and the shortened stride affects the Nano.

started @178 LBS, FINISHED AT 175 LBS.

Racked at mom's later and felt tired but OK
