started a bit faster and tried to maintian steady pace for the first 4 mile then planned on picking up the pace for a strong finish.
took it easy on the first big hill in mile 2
felt like crap in mile 3, struggled in mile 5 after the water stop and on the beginning of the big hill, felt much better after the hill then cranked it up passing a lot of people right up to the end.
