Brian ran over to my house since he left his car there, and we started our run from there. Had to wear the Hokas since my shoes were with the rest of my shit in the UP still. Brian immediately started off at like 6:40 pace. We jogged down to Oak Forest High School where I was looking at my watch that said 6:10 pace, and I laughed. I thought the thing was broken to be honest. We hopped on the new track and did a lap which happened to be 84 or something. Continued on through the neighborhoods back there. We kept chuggin along til we got back to long ave where I let him drop another gear. I was going 6:20 and Lord knows I wasn't going to move any faster. Good run though
