Notes

Yasso 800s (or something similar)

Warm Up

5-8 by 800, 2:55 and 2:55 jogging recovery

(If any repeats go over 3, the next one is the final)

Cool Down

Goal for this is to wake the legs up - I haven't run fast in a while, so there's going to be some rust busting

Ended up with 6 by 800 - heat was pretty rugged, so that didn't help. Upside was that every repeat was sub-3, but I did end up walking the recoveries starting on the third one. Repeats were something like 2:45, 2:52 x3, 2:55, 2:58, so I didn't have much left on the last one. That said - legs are awake and starting to feel a little more excited for some hard running. Just hoping the heat and humidity settle down much more, it was noticeably cooler and still in the mid-70s today.

(Adding the times later - this is actually solid. Yes, it's a bit shorter than I'd really like, but it's faster and I'm still a long way off from peak marathon training sessions. If I'm doing this now, I need to watch out and make sure I'm not burning out since there's a bit of an edge to hold.)
