Took XC kids to stations (3/4 m jog). Raced 12K w Anne. Tempo up. Walked steepest hill. Hard tempo down. Barely stayed ahead in muddy/twisty last 1/2 m (beaver pond trail). Cross line together w Anne. Felt fine. No pain. Endurance on hills & at end better-than-expected. Got 2nd in 60+. 66+ minutes (9:15/m).
