My allergies really flared up when I got to VA yesterday afternoon
*the high winds kept me up during the night and my alarm went off just before 5am and I didn't feel great
*made a tough decision to bail on Cherry Blossom in an effort not to overdo it and risk hurting myself or getting sick
*ate breakfast and waited until the winds died down a bit and headed out for a long run to get the miles in
*kept it easy on the way out as I ran into a headwind
*dropped it to sub-6:20/mi on the way back
I think I made a smart decision. Sometimes you have to keep the bigger picture in mind...
