What a great run. i guess the last two easy days were like a mini-taper. I had to slow myself down the entire run because I felt so good. Course: Home to Garth to Leslie to Providence to trail (at Stewart) to spur to Old 63, Right up hill to Grindstone, Left across 63 to Lemone Industrial Drive, to MU book Repository (11.3), and back the same way. (11.3 because I wanted 22.6 to hit 100 miles for month, but then felt so good at end that I added .5 so I was a 5k short of a marathon). This is by far the best Marathon shape I've ever been in and although I fear how I'll fair in a 5k I think I'll be ready to run under 3 @ Boston.

743, 745 (hills), 733, 733, 730, 737, 735, 729, 737, 739(big hill), 730, 723, 727, 722, 732, 732, 729, 733, 733, 726, 719, 715(hills), 714, :40.

What I did right: Waited for warmer weather than yesterday morning, ate breakfast (eggs, bacon, fruit, oj), planted gatorade on course (4.75, 9, 13.6, 18, stadium entrance to trail and trail @ old 63), two gu's, ipod, cell phone (just in case), dressed right, great pacing, sunglases, body glide in all needed places, bandaid on blister, allegra 180, two advil, new socks, sunscreen.

What I did wrong: ipod placement

Weight after run 151.5 (lost about 4 lbs).

I could have easily held this pace for another 5K which would have been a maraton time of 3:16:56! 627 days ago I wondered if I could run a Boston qualifying time of 3:20:59!
