Notes

Officially beginning summer training! Took a total of 10 days off since my last race. Expected this run to feel pretty harsh on the lungs. Start was pretty rough, trying to get back into a groove. Got a lot smoother as the run went by. Had to stop a few times though to catch my breath because 10 days of no running, 75 degree weather, and very steep hills were a lot to take in the first day. Also tried a new route, which was starting on 202 and going up ridge and then back on macarthur. Wouldn't want to attempt that again simply due to lack of sidewalks. Overall, this run was a lot better than I thought and it looks like I didn't lose too much over the break. Only did 4 strides because my legs are rusty and I want to get them back up to speed before doing more. Here's to a good summer of training.
