So, here's the deal.... Woke up at 5:30, put my running stuff on etc, was ready to go by 5:45. Wife says I have to be back by 7. I'm not going to race my 10 miles. I take my stuff off, and plan to do it at night. I hate running at night. I'm exhausted and it's hot. I plan to run 10 miles on Saturday with a friend. So I switch Saturday 8 miles for Today's 10 miles.
Hot, 8 miles. Running on the "home stretch" with the wind is the worst feeling ever. It just goes on and on and you just overheat. At that point I started pushing it slightly to get it done. I dislike running at night after a long hot day.
