This run was frustrating because my surgery L knee would not cooperate. When I was kind of starting to "stride out", relaxing into a faster pace in the 2nd half mile, I "landed on" my articular cartilage weak spots I guess and I got that old pain similar to what I had in 2011. I kind of limped through the rest of 2 faster miles, when I had intended 3. I thought it best just to cut it off when the knee didn't seem to want to cooperate. I felt like I could have run faster, aerobically speaking, for sure. Knee just would not let me go.
