With Jones 10 miler coming up this weekend, tonight's workout was pretty short. One 1600 at threshold, 1 minute rest, two 800's at interval, 2 minute rest after each 800, and two 200's at repeat, one lap jog between.

Ran the workout with Sean, John, and Andy. Once again, Sean and John led the workout, both looking pretty strong. I was consistently a few seconds back from them at the finish of each rep. That said, I was able to hit my goal splits, just wasnt able to find that other gear that they had. Targeted 41's for the 1600, 38's for the 800, and 34's for the 200.

Definitely felt much better today than I had the last two weeks. Disappointed I cant keep up with the group and have a feeling this will just be a precursor to racing this winter/spring. Sean and John are primed for some fast racing coming up, need to find a way to get back up with them. Need to start with getting in some quicker runs. Been hampered with the snow lately to get good footing, perhaps just need to suck it up and get a few miles on the treadmill.

Foot felt ok, but not great tonight. Was definitely sore by the end of the workout but wasnt limping like last week. Still clearly swollen.
