Oops, I did it again...
I had such a nice run on Back Creek last time that I figured I'd do it again, but this time go the full route. I had an idea at the 9 mile out & back turn around I was about the same pace as last time & pushed it to the end, but thought I'd eased up on the back of this one, since it was longer. I even power walked up 2 of the biggest hills.
I'm shocked to see I sustained another sub-8 pace, especially for that distance.
Sunday's long run was brutal, but I suspected that. I took yesterday off from running in addition to Tuesday, but only due to the lightning - perhaps the extra day made a big difference.
Whatever it was, I'll take it.
