Notes
Legs felt a little dead after the hills & distance Sunday, so I wasn't sure how it'd go. I pushed some & ended up with a pretty fast pace for the track.
The track filled up pretty good & I nearly ran over both an older guy & a little kid.
I swung by the far end of the track on the way out to say hi to the Gordon's running club & maybe meet a girl I'd met once with them, but I ran into the main guy shy of the group & just got to chat to him. It worked out though, as it allowed me to hold the door for another, cute girl I see running there quite a bit. As she came out, I commented to her that she puts in a lot of miles there & she said something to the effect of "but not as many as you - you just zoom around me", which surprised me quite a bit that she recognized me as well. I asked her name, which was Katie. She asked mine, but didn't catch it & asked for it again, which was nice to hear - so often at work no one listens... She commented on how busy the track was & I that it was just going to get worse when the students returned next week. She said didn't realize they still weren't in session, so I said she must not attend or work there & she confirmed. She seemed like a very nice girl & had a very approachable demeanor.
