Christmas morning cycle with Michael Purcell in Cuffesgrange. Wasn't worried about distance or speed - just great to get out and make some room for the turkey dinner. Michael hadn't been out in a long time so we took it easy enough. Lovely day for a spin and the course was fine - a few small hills to make it interesting but nothing too taxing. Got a puncture right at the end (first puncture ever training or in a race...). Michael went on and came back to collect me in the car.
