Resurrected another pair of old Asics from the attic. Decent level of cushioning in them so will hopefully get another couple of hundred miles out of them. It was raining all day and the ground was saturated, puddles absolutely everywhere. Some of the lap was firm enough but it was a bit of a slog. Rained during the run but not windy and not really cold so was actually an enjoyable run. Felt smooth right from the off (unlike yesterday) but HR higher than expected. Solid speed despite the conditions and overall a good run
