Notes

Absolute complete disaster of a run. The usual Phoenix Park run and was genuinely looking forward to it. Started off fine if a little too fast but settled into an 8.20 pace quick enough. No probs initially but not long after I could feel myself having to push harder and was breathing harder than I should have been at 30 mins. At 40 mins I knew I was in trouble. HR was ok but felt wrecked - really struggled at this stage. Tried to focus on form but was too out of breath to even chat to Oscar who was comfortable. I was at less that 60 mins when I stopped the first time and even at that stage I had wanted to stop for the 10 - 15 mins before that. It's ridicilous that I couldn't even get as far as a normal easy 45 muin run without been exhausted. Slowly got started again but it wasn't easy. We were working our way towards the exit of the park and my HR was rising all the time. For over 10 mins it varied between 170 - 178 beats which is more race HR than 8 min mile HR. I stopped and let Oscar on. Was wrecked and must have walked for 15 - 20 mins when I met Oscar again. I had just started jogging slowly when he came along and when he went to go home I tried to stay with him. Managed to get back to his but 100% f*cked... Nothing positive from this run other than the fact the the runners were ok and will prob use them in the HM
